Peace & Quiet
This sprawling resort is far away from the crowds.
Located within the renowned Waikoloa resort community, Kings’ Land by Hilton Grand Vacation Club is right between the greens of Waikoloa Beach Resort Golf course. Once you get settled in your condo, change into swimsuits, grab water wings and goggles and remember, there’s no such thing as too much sunscreen. The nineteen-thousand square foot Super Pool features three main areas: an adult serenity area just for grown-ups, the activity area that features two water slides, water volleyball and basketball and a sand-bottomed children’s area with two waterslides and a poolside “beach” for little ones. The Quiet Pool is great for laps and lounging with a cocktail from the poolside bar. There’s a fitness center to stay in shape and a clubhouse with billiards for a casual game. Activities include video games, movies, and foosball.
Junior one-bedroom, one-, two- and three-bedroom condos sleep four to eight guests. Full kitchens have everything you need to make everyone’s favorites – head to the Foodland Supermarket to stock up on groceries. Recruit the kids to help bake your famous double chocolate brownies (not that they’ll need convincing). The in-suite washer/dryer will come in handy with post-chocolate cleanup. All condos have Flatscreen TVs with HBO, CNN, ESPN and DVD players, so your in-suite entertainment options are endless. Watch the latest episode of Game of Thrones, stay informed with the news or catch the big game. Up for a family movie night? Bring favorite movies from home, put one of the kids in charge of snack duty and ask for a show of hands to decide what to watch first.
Gather all of the golfers in your crew and get ready for a little friendly competition at Waikoloa Golf Course just next door. There are two courses to choose from. The Beach Course is an 18-Hole Course that was designed by Robert Trent Jones II. Kings’ Course is an 18-Hole Course that was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and is more challenging than the Beach Course. Ready for some hardcore shopping? Kings’ Shops and Queens’ MarketPlace are just a short drive from Kings’ Land Hilton. Kings’ Shops has Macy’s, Michael Kors, Sunglass Hut and Tiffany & Co. At Queens’ MarketPlace, you will find Claire’s, PacSun, Quiksilver and Island Pearls. Take advantage of the free shuttle to the shops at Hilton Waikoloa Village. NaHoku features Hawaiian jewelry. Resort wear & accessories from brands like Tommy Bahama can be found at Kohala Bay Collections. Invest in a “Magic Skirt” from Jovani Designs; it can be worn one-hundred different ways. Pick up souvenirs and gifts at Dancing Dolphins and Big Island Market Place.
