Vacatia provides real-time rental listings, large photos, floor plans, and detailed resort information, supported by Vacatia Guest Care and multiple flexible payment options. Vacatia works with 600+ select professionally managed resorts and resort residence owners at leading hospitality, vacation ownership (timeshare) and premier independent resorts. No private homes or hotels allowed! Vacatia also partners with select brands to operate vacation ownership marketplaces. Vacatia is a member of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) and the Family Travel Association, is venture-backed, was founded in 2013, and is headquartered in San Francisco, CA.

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Caroline is a seasoned travel and hospitality executive who is passionate about building companies that embrace technology to deliver a stellar customer experience. She was the lead website architect on the startup team at Hotwire, and also managed product and supplier relations. Caroline also led global CRM and revenue management functions for Starwood Hotels and Resorts. As SVP at Sentient Jet, she oversaw client services and command center operations, and launched a new technology platform for flight management. Caroline also co-founded Store Vantage, a SaaS scheduling and CRM system for service businesses. Caroline was a technology and strategy consultant at Accenture and Scient, working with Fortune 500 and startup clients. Caroline holds a degree in Nuclear Engineering from MIT.
Chief Marketing Officer
Mike is an experienced e-commerce & full-stack marketing executive and builder of internet businesses for both new and world class brands. Mike spent fourteen years at FedEx in a variety of marketing and product development roles, the last four as their first VP of Electronic Commerce (fedex.com) Marketing. Mike was the first VP/GM of Apple Computer's online Worldwide Apple Store, named Consumer Reports' "#1 computer manufacturer web site". He was also the first CMO of StubHub, the world's largest ticket marketplace and Inc. magazine's #8 fastest growing private company, prior to StubHub's acquisition by eBay. He also co-founded FanSnap, an event ticket search engine that was acquired by Nextag in 2011. Mike holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
Head of Product
Steve is an accomplished technology, e-commerce, and entertainment executive with responsibility for Vacatia's product and engineering strategy and execution. Steve co-founded Pencl Labs, where he designed, developed, launched and operated a website management platform for bands and musicians. Steve was lead architect at Scalable Path, and held executive positions with Chophouse Records, online music memorabilia company Fleetwood Owen, and digital music label Artist One. He started in technology at Oracle, where he was Senior Manager in the Global E-Business Program Office. He served as board member and Director of Artist Relations for non-profit ActiveMusic. Steve holds a BA in International Marketing and Finance from USC and an MBA from the Garvin School of International Management at Thunderbird.
Head of Growth
Brian has responsibility for Vacatia's guest acquisition strategy and execution, myriad online and offline marketing channels, and distribution partnerships. Brian spent over a decade in marketing management at StubHub, the last two as their first Head of European Marketing and Global Customer Acquisition. Brian built StubHub's SEO and affiliate channels and was Head of Customer Acquisition (U.S.) for five years, growing the ticket marketplace's annual gross sales to $3+ billion. He started his marketing career at Art.com. and Milesmall.com. Brian holds a BA in Interpersonal/Organizational Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Head of Supply
Josh oversees Vacatia's resort and travel company supply strategy and execution, including partnerships with suppliers, aggregators and connectivity providers. Prior to Vacatia, Josh was with Hotwire for six years during which he worked as a Market Analyst on the Hotel Team, Account Manager (Northeast Region), Regional Manager (Western U.S.) and most recently a Senior Global Accounts Manager responsible for strategic partnerships with major hospitality brands (Hilton, Starwood, IHG). Josh holds a BS in Public Health Education and Promotion from California State University - Chico, and a minor in Spanish from La Universidad del Pais Vasco in Northern Spain.
Chief Legal Officer
Steve has responsibility for Vacatia's legal matters, including corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and real property issues related to multi-national brand building, online real property brokerage, seller of travel licensure, and resort residence rental and resale marketplace development. He is formerly the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Broker with Resort Equities and was a co-founder, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Broker at Ragatz Resort Realty. Steve was a partner at Vantera Partners investment banking group specializing in real property, emerging technology and consumer products ventures. Steve is a former Equity Partner with Cox, Castle & Nicholson, LLP where his practice focused on the acquisition, disposition, financing, development and management of hospitality, resort, residential, commercial and mixed-use properties. Steve served 15 years combined active duty and reserves as an officer in the US Air Force. Steve holds a BA in English Literature from Brown University and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis.
President & Co-Founder
Michael literally grew up in the resort industry as he was the President and COO of Vacation Internationale (co-founded by his father in 1974), which pioneered the points-based timeshare structure which is prevalent today. Michael was the first executive hired to create the Disney Vacation Club, serving as VP/GM for nearly 8 years. He was also on the senior management team that created the Marriott Vacation Club. Michael founded and was President of Private Residence Resorts which specializes in boutique fractional properties. He has consulted and partnered in numerous fractional resorts throughout North America. He is a Trustee member of the American Resort Development Association and Co-Chair of the Fractional Forum at the annual ARDA conference. Michael has a BS in Political Science from University of Washington and graduated from the Wharton School's Executive Development program.
Chairman & Co-Founder
Keith is a serial entrepreneur, co-founding businesses in the resort real estate, consumer technology, venture capital and restaurant industries. Keith founded Vacation Listing Service (re-branded Vacatia) and Resort Equities, a resort real estate brokerage and fractional ownership company. He co-founded and was managing director of Brainstorm Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund, which invested in OpenTable and Zappos. Keith also helped to found, fund, launch and serve as Chairman of Me.com, Santa.com and Lightt. He co-founded and served as CEO of World Wrapps and also conceived of, launched and served as CEO of Pacific Catch. He was a strategic management consultant in the consumer practice at Booz-Allen & Hamilton and financial consultant at Deloitte & Touche. Keith has BAs in both Business Economics and Sociology from UC- Santa Barbara, and an MBA from Stanford University.
