Peace & Quiet
The final resort on Ka'anapali Beach, you're away from the crowds near Whalers Village.
Aston Mahana at Kaanapali is located on the quieter north end of Kaanapali Beach, with a small shoreline and oceanfront lawn perfect for working on your sun-kissed look. Although close to all of the action, it’s removed from the crowds so you can enjoy peace and quiet when you want to. The calm outdoor pool has more than enough room to swim laps or splash around with the kids (don’t forget the goggles and water wings). Make a batch of burgers on the bbq grills, or if you don’t feel like cooking, you’re just a five-minute walk to beachside dining at Duke’s Beach House at neighboring Honua Kai Resort. If you’re up for some recreation, check out the tennis courts or play a game of shuffleboard. You can snorkel in the reef, right offshore, and in the afternoon it’s very common to spot sea turtles.
Air-conditioned studio, one- and two-bedroom condos sleep two to six guests. Full kitchens give you the freedom to make your own meals, visit the nearby Times Supermarket for groceries. Cable TVs and PlayStation 3 gaming consoles keep the family entertained if the weather isn’t cooperating. That’s not all! PlayStation 3’s double as Blu-Ray and DVD players. Bring favorite games and movies from home to enjoy at the resort. All condos at the Aston Mahana face the ocean with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer fiery sunset panoramas. The resort’s condos also include in-suite washer/dryers and spacious outdoor lanais. Premium condos feature upgraded kitchens and bathrooms.
You have access to five restaurants within a short walking distance along the beach, and the historic town of Lahaina is only four miles away. It features sunglasses from several popular brands such as Armani, Coach, Gucci, Oakley, and Ray Ban. Browse the jewelry at Pandora, Alex and Ani, and Maui Divers Jewelry. Pick up a new swimsuit at Quiksilver. Lululemon has athletic apparel. When it’s time for lunch, there’s Joey’s Kitchen, Leilani’s on the Beach or Hula Grill. Surprise the kids with a visit to Yogurtland for dessert. Royal Kaanapali Golf Course is an eighteen-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior in 1962 and renovated between 2006 and 2007. It’s known for being the host of the LPGA Kempur Cup and Champions Tour Kaanapali Classic. Maui Brewing Company is open seven days a week, with a happy hour from 3:30 to 5:30 PM each day.
