About the Resort
You're right on Palm Beach! Serious relaxation awaits.
Beachfront views and posh restaurants make the perfect backdrop for your romantic getaway.
Grab your favorite fruity drink at The Sands Eatery Bar & Grill.
Between the airy condo suites, high end resort amenities, and covetable oceanfront real estate Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club is everything you want in a Caribbean getaway. Whether your crew likes to explore the local culture while traveling, or just kick back and relax at the resort - the Aruba Ocean Club has you covered. Begin each day sipping coffee on your own furnished patio, then fuel for the day with a hearty home-cooked breakfast courtesy of the en-suite kitchen - go ahead and have seconds, the beach isn’t going anywhere. Once everyone’s sunscreened up, just waltz right out to the sand. Work on your summer glow (any time of year) while the kiddos splash around in the surf and build sandcastles. When lunchtime rolls around migrate to the onsite restaurant The Sands Eatery for a casual poolside meal. You could easily spend the afternoon lounging poolside (Mai Tai in-hand), but if your crew’s feeling a little adventurous the Ocean Club is in a central locale for enjoying all that Aruba has to offer. For a truly tropical experience book a snorkeling excursion with Jolly Pirates Sailing - just a short walk down the beach - to swim amid sea turtles, frolic with colorful fish, and swing from the ship’s rigging (see who can do the best Tarzan call)! At the end of an adventure-filled day unwind with a soak at the lagoon-like hot tubs and congratulate yourself on your trip-planning skills.
One- and two-bedroom villas are spacious and bright, with simple decor and pops of color. A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances makes home-cooking a breeze. You can sit down to family dinner at the dining table, though eating in the living room in front fo the TV is also a totally valid option. Flat screen TVs in the living room and master come with cable, ESPN and even HBO, prime for a low key night in. Each suite has a cushy king bed in the master, and a full size sleeper sofa in the living room so nobody’s camping out on the floor. Two-bedrooms add a queen bed and second sleeper sofa in the extra room, making them perfect for bigger crews.
Despite having no resort fees, there’s lots to do onsite at the Aruba Ocean Club. Head to Champions Sports Bar for tasty American fare and 33 high-def TVs. For some R ‘n R swing by the Mandara Spa for a massage, body scrub or facial - maybe all three! The Ocean Café carries grab-n-go snacks and is open 24 hours (great for midnight munchies) while the Lobby Café will meet all of your caffeine needs. Plus, there’s plenty of walkable spots along the beach. MooMba Beach Bar & Restaurant dishes up both casual and gourmet fare with a quintessential Caribbean menu of island cuisine with European flair (a nod to the colonial culture). For a romantic date night stop by Pelican Pier Bar to watch the sunset over drinks, then if you’re feeling lucky head to the Stellaris Casino.
