Let the kids run off their excess energy before their afternoon nap. Take a family field trip to Shipwreck Island Waterpark. Little ones will have a blast at the children’s activity pools in Tadpole Hole while the big kids (and grown-ups) will enjoy Raging Rapids and the Tree Top Drop. Both rides have height requirements. Raging Rapids is a white water rafting inner tube ride while the Tree Top Drop features two slides that are sixty-five feet tall. Gulf World Marine Park allows you to interact with dolphins, harbor seals, penguins, and stingrays. There are three dolphin experiences depending on the level of interaction that you (or the kids) are interested in. Other experiences include a penguin encounter with a black-footed penguin, getting up close and personal with a harbor seal and snorkeling with cownose and southern stingrays in the Stingray Interactive Program.
