About the Resort
This small intimate resort is right on the beach.
Beach House Golf and Racquet Club is the last resort on this part of the shore, next to a quaint oceanfront neighborhood. You’re far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy some peace and quiet but close enough to enjoy all that Myrtle Beach has to offer. The outdoor heated pool has seasonal views of the ocean (it’s covered by a tent during the off-season). Go for a relaxing swim or throw dive sticks for the kids to find. When it’s time for lunch, look no further than the bbq grills. Have the kids help by carrying burgers and hot dogs. Put the condiments, plates, buns, and cheese out on the picnic table and let the family have at it. Lounge peacefully on the spacious seaside lawn just steps from the beach, and relax while the kids play. Up for some exercise? Go for a walk along the beach or if you’re looking for something more traditional, visit the on-site fitness center and get in a workout.
Air-conditioned one- to three-bedroom condos sleep four to ten guests and provide everything that your family will need on vacation. If you're looking to eat in regularly, you’re in luck; all condos have full kitchens. For groceries, there’s the nearby Food Lion. Get your morning off to the right start with breakfast around the table and get your game plan set for the day. Now the only question is: pancakes or waffles? There’s no need to worry about missing the latest episode of your favorite show; you’ll have cable TVs. DVD players are perfect for family movie night. Have the kids pack their favorite movies from home, pop some popcorn and get everyone situated on the couch. The on-site coin-operated laundry facility lets you pack light and save room in your suitcase for souvenirs.
Pine Lakes Country Club, the “first golf course in Myrtle Beach,” is just a short drive from the resort. This eighteen-hole course was designed by Robert White and features a putting green and a snack shop. If you want to experience the best views of Myrtle Beach, grab your camera and go for a ride on the almost two-hundred-foot tall SkyWheel. The gondolas are big enough for all of the family to ride together and they are climate-controlled. Barefoot Landing offers some of the best shopping in Myrtle Beach. Get a new pair of shades from Ralph Lauren, Prada, Tiffany & Co. or Coach at Sunglass Hut. For Myrtle Beach souvenirs as well as candy and specialty food products there’s Barefoot General Store. Del Sol features apparel and accessories that change colors when exposed to sunlight. Check out the selection of jewelry at A Silver Shack. When the kids get hungry, there’s Stillhouse BBQ, Wild Wing Cafe, Ultimate California Pizza or Joe’s Crab Shack. Family Kingdom Amusement Park will be a big hit with the kids. It features over thirty-five rides including bumper cars, rollercoasters, a Ferris wheel, carousel, train, and go-karts. Splashes Water Park has intermediate speed slides, a lazy river, and water play areas just for the kids.
