Arrive in style at the fresh, modern Limelight with complimentary airport transfers. The coveted location puts you steps from the slopes and all the downtown shopping/dining action. Grab complimentary bikes year round to explore the town or trails. The resort itself keeps a full event calendar with everything from Rosé Wednesdays and Summer sangria flights, to Whiskey dinners and a Bike & Beer Series. If you’re interested in venturing beyond Aspen proper, there’s and in-town daily ski shuttle to Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass. Just pick up your skis and boards from the ski valet and go. Look no further than The Lounge for a lively après scene, with live music by favorite local bands four nights a week. Once you take a peek at the light, seasonal Italian menu, you may even decide to come back later for dinner or order in. If it happens to be nice enough, head for a wraparound sofa on one of the rooftop terraces, or stare up at the stars from the outdoor pool and hot tubs.

Choose from the Casita Suite, Aspen Suite, Cathedral Suite and a posh two-bedroom, two-bath penthouse, including an oversized balcony with a fireplace. The spacious suites range in size from 580 to 1,300 square feet – plenty of room for your crew to crash comfortably without anyone drawing the “short straw” and having to sleep on the floor. Full kitchens make cooking-in a no-brainer. That said, the daily continental breakfast in The Lounge is a crowd-pleaser, with everything from granola to French toast to veggie frittatas – so don’t go too crazy with breakfast groceries. Once the sun goes down and you lose your spectacular views of Aspen and Shadow Mountains (just ’til morning!), flip on the 48-inch flat-screen TV and look for a movie, or see if you can round up enough players for one last board game before bed.

One of the perks of staying at the Limelight is access to an array of exclusive side trips and experiences. Take an insider’s tour of Aspen, Snowmass or Aspen Highlands – a guided group excursion on skis. Or be the first to hit the untouched corduroy or fresh powder before the gondola opens to the general public. Take a winter cruiser tour through a nature preserve or explore historical sites like the Midland Railroad. If you’re with strong intermediates or an expert crew, ride The Little Nell Powder Cat to 10-15 untracked powder runs on the backside of Aspen, stopping for lunch in a remote cabin before tackling the rest of the mountain. Or go snap pics of the Maroon Bells, the most photographed peaks in North America. You’ll see why when you can’t stop snapping pics. Shuttles leave every half-hour from Aspen Highlands, but you’ll get the best shots in the early morning or late evening when the lighting’s just right. If you’re feeling ambitious, follow the trail a little further to Crater Lake, putting you up over the 10,000-foot mark (duly noted in your Instagram post). The strollable downtown offers breathtaking views in every direction, and you’ll find parks, cool architecture and a few Aspen classics like the Wheeler Opera House, just two blocks away.
