If you’re looking for a low-key retreat on Maui’s most popular beach, Aston Kaanapali Villas is a great choice. You get the advantage of staying right on Ka’anapali Beach without all that crowds that come with it. But, if you want to check out the action, the resort offers a free daily shuttle to shopping and dining in Whaler’s Village. The resort itself has two large pools, jetted hot tubs, and a cabana lounge area on the lawn overlooking the beach. Inside, many residences have been recently appointed with granite counter tops and elegant tile flooring. For breakfast, lunch, or dinner head to Castaway Cafe, which offers simple, yet delicious food with an extensive wine list. It’s also very reasonably priced! Young kids are welcomed to the resort with a coloring book and adults will love the General Manager’s weekly Mai Tai party.
