7 Best Hollywood Studios Restaurants for a Quick Meal

Take a lunch break like the stars do – quick and delicious. These Hollywood Studios restaurants offer a quick way to do lunch without having to make reservations. Maybe even the odd movie star would be impressed by these healthy and delicious choices.

1) ABC Commissary

This is the place to go when the weather is hot and humid, and you need a something indoors to cool down. It also has a washroom at one end.

With a variety of choices, you can get burgers, steaks, seafood, and salads. The Asian Salad with Salmon is not only healthy, it’s delicious. The same with the Couscous Quinoa and Arugula Salad with Chicken. For vegetarians, these two salads can also be made without the meat.

There’s also a limited Kosher option of burgers, hotdog, chicken strips, and corned beef, all served with potato croquette.

For the adults, this restaurant offers a limited selection of beers, wines, and a sangria.

2) Backlot Express

While the menu at this Hollywood Studios restaurant is heavy on the usual burgers, fries, hotdogs, and chicken nuggets, there are also a few surprisingly tasty gems. The Pressed Turkey Club and the Grilled Vegetable Sandwich are worth looking into. But the Cantaloupe and Cucumber Salad! When it’s 95 degrees outside with high-humidity, this is probably the most refreshing thing you could eat.

3) Studios Catering

If you’re not be in the area, it can be quite a walk to get to since it’s at the far corner of the theme park. Still, it might be worth a trip.

Sandwiches and wraps dominate the menu. What we normally do, to balance out our meals, is get a sandwich for each of us (and they’re usually a generous portion), and then share one Greek salad. The Pulled Brisket Sandwich and the Spicy Chipotle Chicken Sandwich are the favorites here.

It’s all about BBQ chicken and succulent ribs. They’ve got outdoor seating, which can be nice when you’re eating BBQ. The spareribs, chicken, and pork sandwich are the crowd pleasers here. Their salad even comes with BBQ pork. And course they have your turkey legs.

A Friendly Hint: Ride the next door Tower of Terror before, rather than after your meal. It’s better to keep the BBQ on the inside.

5) Min And Bill’s Dockside Diner

It’s built to look like a boat and set right on Echo Lake at the center to the action. They have have two types of gourmet mac n’ cheese, one with BBQ pulled pork, and one with Buffalo chicken. They also have delicious BBQ turkey legs.

If you need a little libation order a spiked lemonade with whiskey, rum, or vodka.

6) Oasis Canteen

This stand is also not that far from Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner. So, if you’re still peckish after your meal, get a funnel cake to share as a dessert.

This is also the place to get a root beer or Coca-Cola float. Either one will go well with your funnel cake.

7) Starring Rolls Cafe

This Hollywood Studios restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, they offer a wide selection of pastries, bagels, baked goods, fruits, and hot drinks. For lunch, you can get sandwiches and even sushi rolls, along with a large selection of desserts. Mainly outdoor seating is available.
